German III/B1 is a comprehensive German course for young learners at the intermediate level, focusing on expanding vocabulary, improving grammar, and enhancing the four key language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
The course features interactive lessons that use real-life scenarios and dialogues to develop practical language use. New grammar and vocabulary are introduced gradually, covering topics from hobbies and friendships to future plans and media. Each lesson also includes cultural insights, offering a deeper understanding of life in German-speaking countries.
Project-based learning encourages collaboration, with tasks like presentations and written projects helping students apply their German creatively. The course also provides targeted practice for exams like the Goethe Zertifikat B1 and includes digital resources such as interactive exercises and audio tracks.
By the end of the year, learners will improve their language proficiency, enabling them to understand and discuss familiar topics, write simple texts, and express personal opinions. They will also gain cultural competency, understanding the nuances of language in different German-speaking countries. This engaging approach helps build confidence in using German both in and outside the classroom.
7th and 8th grade students may earn High School credit by paying an additional fee of $130.00. A parent/teacher financial agreement must be completed after the initial nonrefundable deposit of $125.00 is paid for the first month.
