Graphic Design 101

Graphic Design 101 is designed to introduce high school and middle school students to the fundamental concepts and skills necessary for creating visually appealing and impactful designs.
Through a combination of exciting video lessons, hands-on projects, creative exploration, and learning digital tools, students will be given challenging real-world projects and assignments typical of the graphic design industry.
Students will also be asked to do a final "branding" project where they will create their own brand, logo, and campaign. 1 Semester course for 1 high school elective credit. This is an online, self-paced course with weekly quizzes, students' workshops, and quizzes.
Includes beautiful 100-page, physical color workbook for all assignments and projects (Physical workbook mailed to student).
This course is through an outside link away from Family Academy Online. The owner of this content is renowned Hollywood Filmmaker, Damon Evans, who has granted Family Academy the right to market this course to our students. You will come back weekly to the Family Academy Online site and you will upload your hours and copies of your work.
The student will be sent access information, and this course is self-paced. Each week the student will log into Family Academy Online and upload a form with their hours on it; and a summary of what they completed. By the end of the semester, they will need to provide a copy of their best work or share their book electronically to validate the work has been completed.
