Health
Grades: 9-12th
Course Length: One Semester
Available Credit: Health .50 / CPR and First Aid .25 / Research Competency Course
This health class is unique. The student will spend time investigating the various medications that parents, grandparents and anyone else in the family tree uses on a daily basis. They will learn about the conditions as to why they are taking these medications, and they will research alternatives that could have been used to combat these diseases or ailments naturally. In their research they will find ways to help themselves never having to use the same medications and hopefully eliminate the family medical issues that plague most households today.
Breaking the cycle is important, learning alternative methods is a necessity in today's society.
