Grades: 5-12th Course Length: One Year Available Credit: World Language 1.0 for 8-12th grade In this class you will learn about both hearing and Deaf cultures: differences, history, purpose… You will see different qualities of ASL unknown to outsiders. Learning ASL can benefit hearing people via increased spelling skills, talking when speech is not easily assessable such as in crowds, increased skill reading body language, increased vocabulary, and the ability of conversing with other subcultures in the United States. Total price for the course is $1100.00 per school year which includes the online access. Non-refundable deposit to hold position in class is $125.00. Additional fees apply to give 8th grade students high school credit apply. Monthly payment arrangements available with a Parent Teacher Financial form.
