Grades: 6-12th Course Length: One Year Available Credit: World Language 1.0 German I Beginner is a 10-unit course over two semesters, focusing on speaking, listening, writing, and reading in German, with an emphasis on oral proficiency. Students will learn grammar basics, explore German-speaking countries, and delve into their cultures. Speaking activities build confidence in everyday phrases. Writing tasks include postcards, letters, and emails. Assessments track progress in reading, writing, and listening, leading to eligibility for the AATG 1 Exam upon completion. This course is NCAA approved. A parent / teacher financial agreement form is required after receipt of the initial $125.00 non refundable deposit. 7th and 8th grade students can earn High School credit with the additional fee of $130.00.
