Grades: 7-12th Course Length: One Year Available Credit: World Language 1.0 Welcome to the German II course! Here, you’ll enhance your German skills by expanding your vocabulary and deepening your grammar understanding. Our goal is to improve your listening, reading, speaking, and writing abilities. Each unit focuses on a specific vocabulary theme and grammar concept. You’ll engage in various activities like comprehension exercises, speaking and writing tasks, cultural presentations, and interactive exercises to reinforce your learning. These activities provide practical context and conversational examples. We prioritize active participation. You’ll practice grammar patterns in speaking and writing, engage in conversations, and respond to prompts, building your command of the language.
This course also fosters cultural understanding by exploring and comparing practices, products, and perspectives of German-speaking countries, broadening your appreciation for their diversity. Frequent assessments will track your progress and provide feedback for improvement. By the end of this course, you’ll have a solid foundation in German, ready to comprehend complex texts, engage in conversations, and express your thoughts clearly. We’re excited to start this journey with you and look forward to your progress! 7th and 8th grade students can earn High School credit with the additional fee of $130.00.
A parent/teacher financial contract is required with this course to continue after the initial payment of $125.00 is received.
