Grades: 6-12th Course Length: 1-10 months Credit Available: World Language 1.0 for a year / .50 one semester Western Armenia (Western Armenian): is a term to refer to the western parts of the Armenian highlands located within Turkey (formerly the Ottoman Empire) that comprise the historical homeland of the Armenians. Western Armenia, also referred to as Byzantine Armenia, emerged following the division of Greater Armenia between the Byzantine Empire (Western Armenia) and Sassanid Persia (Eastern Armenia) in AD 387. This country has a rich history and wonderful language, both spoken and written.
This course includes 30 minutes per week with a live instructor and video recording so you can go back over the vocabulary and assignments. Everything is done via Zoom or online. Additional materials are at the discretion of the teacher, and you will be notified after your non-refundable deposit for the course is received. Parents will complete a financial contract for the remainder of months through the year and pay the balance of the course directly to the teacher of record.
